The Giant Pines are falling over without any explanation. Bill and the boys must find out what is happening before the forest is lost. What is causing this? Is it insects, a new disease, poor soil. or what? Millions of dollars of beautiful, majestic pines are in danger. The forest service and lumber companies want answers, and Bill is at a loss to provide those answers.

Marcus the Nile Monitor Lizard stops for a visit with Uncle Bob Devine. Marcus and other monitor lizards watch for preditors like the aligator. Then he warns other lizards of the aligator. Marcus is about 6 feet ong and weighs about 200 pounds. He also continues to grow his entire lifetime.

Silvertown is a rough, tough mining town. The miners there spend all their free time drinking and scaring the residents. They have driven five preachers out of the only church in town. The few members of the church ask Bill to find a parson willing to fight - with his fists. Bill gets Spence Fielding, a powerful young man from State U. Can Bill and Spence get Silvertown under control? Or will the drunken miners succeed in destroying the church?

Skinny (Horatio Thornwall Skines) works for successful bloodhound breeder Jarvis Engell and his son Ed. Jarvis gives Skinny a runt pup Peanut. Jarvis says that Peanut should grow up to be a great show dog. Ed gets jealous and wants his own top show dog because wants to defeat Skinny at dog shows. Which dog will win, the one raised on love or the one raised with a club?

RB159 Gray Wolf and the Tamed Cougar aka One-Man Mountain Lion
A young cougar wanders into the Knotty Pine Supermarket and chases out all the customers. The boys are called in to remove this “vicious” beast from the store. Bill soon realizes this is a tame cougar. The cougar quickly becomes attached to Gray Wolf. Laugh along with the fellas as Gray Wolf tries to deal with the affectionate cat!

Vinnie the Vine Snake visits Uncle Bob Devine this week. Vinnie lives mostly in Mexico. He blends beautifully with the vines that grow near lakes and rivers. Vinnie is 5 feet long and thin as a pencil. This makes him look like the tangled vines where he lives. Listen to all Vinnie has to say about his looks and life among the vines.

There's trouble on Beaver Lake. A group of young men, including Henry, are racing their power boats on the lake. Most of them are racing safely, but the boys with the fastest boat are endangering everyone else using the lake. Folks want Bill to stop the speed boating. Bill comes up with a plan to stop the dangerous boating. Then the troublemakers find a way to foil Bill's plan. Who will win this battle of wits? Will Bill be able to protect innocent vacationers on Beaver Lake?

Horace Butler holds the mortgage on Knute Hobson’s ranch. Knute doesn’t have the money to pay the note. Knute needs two extra months to pay the note. Horace gives him one weekend or he will foreclose Knute’s mortgage. Then Horace gets in trouble with Bill for not correcting safety violations on his ranch.
