Suddenly, fishing lines are being robbed and hunters are losing their kills to something in the river. The thief appears to be a baracuda, a killer with two rows of razor-sharp teeth and fins. Bill must find this thief and stop it - whatever it is. Can Bill locate our thief, or will terror continue on the Finger River?

The forest service and lumber companies want answers, and Bill is at a loss to provide those answers.

Two men, Mr. Delong and the Carabou, cut down trees in the mountains outside Knotty Pine. Delong says he is a lumberman, but Bill found out he is an antique book seller. Delong has the Carabou cutting down more than a hundred trees.

Our rangers learn that Delong is looking for a treasure hidden in a tree. The treasure may be something left behind by the Donner Party on their ill-fated journey west in 1847.

The show is about the wide variety of plants, how they grow, where they live, and more. The five parts involve different regions around the world such a deserts, the tropics, regions with four distinct seasons, and under water.

From what I have read about Bob Devine, he produced Nature Corner and Storybook Room at least from the late '50s through the late '90s. During that time, Bob Devine created about 500 Nature Corner episodes and about 1200 Storybook Room episodes. That's nearly 1,700 15-minute episodes or more than 400 hours of God-honoring nature programs.

Moody has ofered Nature Corner/Storybook Room for many years, for sale at first and then as free downloads. They no longer offer the complete sets. Individual episodes are still available to stream by anyone. People who are registered customers with Moody can also download the individual episodes.

Gill Major, an insurance salesman, visits Bill to try to sell him life insurance. Bill turns the tables on Gill and tries to sell him Eternal Life Insurance. Gill is not a Christian and has no interest in eternal life insurance. But can Gill ignore insurance whose premium was paid in full 2000 years ago, provides protection after death, guarantees the insured eternal life, and the insured person is the beneficiary? The children are trapped in the school building when the school bus has a flat tire. Henry's friend Don, who is a long-distance runner, may be the only one who can get help.

The railroad engines in Randolph Thompson's Red Valley Freight Line are threatening to burn up all the trees in Giant Pine National Park. Many of Thompson's engines are old coal-fired steam engines. Randolph pushes the engines hard so that they belch out volumes of smoke and sparks, setting the nearby dry forest ablaze.
Ranger Bill tries to get Thompson to either stop using the old coal burners or put spark arresters on their stacks. Thompson will not cooperate. What can Bill do to protect the forest and save the giant pines?

Bill and Henry take off for the weekend to visit Bill's alma mater Brighton College and enjoy the homecoming football game. An old building being used as a dorm catches fire and the building's janitor is severely hurt. Fire investigators suspect arson. Later, Bill and Henry spot Ronnie speeding and generally driving dangerously. Is the Brighton fire arson? Could Ronnnie be that arsonist? What can Bill and Henry do to find the fire's cause and the person responsible?

The Fireball Express is streaking north toward the Knotty Pine region at 100 miles per hour with 400 souls on board. "Unc" McFadden is the rail dispatcher at Junction City. His job is making sure that the trains under his care get to their destinations safely. That includes the Fireball Express. Heavy rains followed by flash flooding threaten the rail trestles and bridges near Knotty Pine. To be safe, Unc sends a trestle tester engine to check the northern line especially the old trestle over 800-foot-deep Cougar Canyon. What will the tester crew find? This doesn't sound like any kind of a race to me. What does a handcar have to do with the whole problem? And what does this have to do with our rangers?

Skinner McNeil loves his mules. They have worked hard and faithfully pulling Skinner's two wagons for 12 years. Skinner and his mules work for the Mountain Refining Co. MRC makes glass. Skinner hauls, or rather hauled, sand from the mines to the glass works.

Hal the owner wants to sell mules to the butcher. Skinner is arrested for stealing the mules to save them. Skinner races the mules against a dump truck to determine his sentence.

This is a real contest of man and his animals against machines.

Gill is not a Christian and has no interest in eternal life insurance. Thornton is the son of a big businessman and used to getting his way. Thorny is worried that Henry will win the mayor's race because of Henry's popularity at school. Henry is on the swim team and has the best grades in math. Thornton steals Henry's math notes and accuses him of cheating. Now Henry may not only lose the race but also kicked off the swim team and flunk math. Bill can't go to Henry's aid or he will interfere with the Youth Week. Henry must stand up for himself. But what can he do to defend his good name?

It's winter in the Shady Mountains. At least it's supposed to be. The dreaded Chinook winds are blowing. The winds make it 50 degrees in the mountains when it ought to be 15 degrees below zero. The snow in the Shadies is melting and filling up Mid-Mountain Dam and cracking off huge chunks of glacier ice. The rising waters and the moving ice are threatening Mid-Mountain and Knotty Pine Dams. The threat to Mid-Mountain Dam grows with each passing hour of thaw. The dam operators ask Bill and the boys to do something to stop the ice. Bill calls on the one person he thinks can stop the ice boulders - Frenchy DeSalle. How can logger Frenchy help Bill stop tons and tons of speeding ice flows?
